Just in case you haven't heard...

I'm pretty sure everyone has already heard, but just in case...

My awesome friend Liz took these for me and on super short notice too.
Didn't they come out great?

So great that I can't decide which one is my favorite.  :)

Anyway, we are excited.  I am officially out of my first trimester.  Woot Woot!  The baby is due the end of July, I think 7-27 is my actual due date but you never really know. Needless to say we will be spending EVERYDAY this summer in the pool.  Good thing my kids like to swim too.

We found out about baby number three the week of Thanksgiving.  We had a lot of family coming to town that week and Jeff really wanted to tell everyone.  I wanted to wait a little while, just to be safe.  Honestly, I was hoping to wait until Valentine's day, but with the way I pop we decided that wasn't really going to happen, so we opted for Christmas.  We had been trying to come up with cleaver ways to tell our family, but I just wasn't loving any of the ideas.

First was my family on Christmas Eve, we had Em wear a Big Sister shirt.  I was surprised at how long it took everyone to get it.  My dad was the first one and he picked her up and ran over to me with a HUGE grin on his face saying "Does this mean anything?"  I smiled and said yes.  He was so excited.  He was curious if anyone else knew and I laughed and said I didn't think so.  Finally everyone got it.  I actually had my first ultrasound that day and invited my mom to come with me since she had never been to one before.  At first she seemed a little uncomfortable, but the moment she saw the baby on the screen and little heart beating she just started beaming with joy.  It was so neat to have her there with me.

Then on Christmas day for Jeff's family we hid one of the ultrasound pictures in with one of the other presents.  They were all very excited but apparently not surprised.  But it was still lots of fun sharing our great news with all our loved ones at such a special time of year.

So far I have been feeling good.  Obviously tired and a little queasy but nothing too bad.  I know, I am one of the lucky ones.  I think my favorite thing so far is how excited the kids are.  Before we even told anyone about the pregnancy, one of the things Em asked Santa for was a baby brother.  So sweet!  I didn't want to tell them for a while since I knew once we told them they would expect the baby the next day, but it has been a good learning process for them.  Em asks to see my belly everyday.  I don't think we are too far from her talking too my belly which will be fun/funny too.

Well, we are all super excited. I'm still trying to grasp the fact that I will have 3 children and only have 2 hands, but I guess we'll figure it out.  I can't believe we are already 1/3 of the way though!

What an exciting year 2013 holds for us!

Hope you have a fabulous 2013 too!

Have you noticed?

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. The last few times I have really CUT my hair, not just a trim, I was not pleased with the results. Now it would probably help if I was willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut . . . but I'm Mrs. High Pockets as my father calls me and it is really hard for me to spend money on my hair. So I need your help! What do you think I should do? Before you make any suggestions you should know: It MUST be able to go back into a ponytail!!!!!!! My hair is STICK STRAIGHT My hair will not curl to save my life (via over night curls, hot curls, even curling irons, they just don't work) I want and need something EASY! I do not like to spend time on my hair and I don...

Em's Blessing

Emily's Blessing day was so great! Since we were moving home so soon after she was born, we decided to just wait until we got out here to CA so our family could be there for it. It was pretty low key compared to P's (and by that I mean less family there) but was still just as wonderful. Jeff gave a beautiful blessing. It was also special because she wore the dress I was sealed to my parents in. Jeff wasn't a fan of how long it was for such a small baby, but it was so neat for her to wear something that is so special in my family. The P-man looked like a little stud in his outfit too! I wish I would have gotten some of the two of them together, o-well. It was a fabulous day! Thanks so much for all the family and friends that were there, it meant so much to have you there and we missed those who couldn't come! Isn't she so perfect! I love this picture of her laying on the grass. She is so pure and clean and perfect ! I love her!

Disneyland

A little late but . . . We Went To Disneyland! So you may or may not know that we went to Disneyland back in July. It was so much fun! As we were planning the trip I was really worried about how it would be taking 2 babies there, in my mind they were way too young to do anything there but boy was I wrong! All of us had a great time and we all went on tons of rides, even Emily! Here is a list of all the rides we went on: (The bold ones were P's very favorites) Disneyland Railroad Train Enchanted Tiki Room The Jungle Cruise Tarzan's Tree House Pirates of the Caribbean Haunted Mansion Winnie the Pooh It's a Small World Story Book Land canal boats King Aurthur's Carousel Dumbo Mad Tea Party Tea Cups Peter Pan Mr. Toad's Wild Ride Pinocchio Finding Nemo Submarine Autopia (Cars) Did you know babies could do this much! I sure didn't! I even nursed during 4 of the above mentioned rides which was so nice and saved tons of time! They both did so well on all of the...
