SCORE!

Well, I tried really hard to put these in a cube/square type thing so you could compare better, but obviously failed miserably. But here are all 4 of our baby pictures all taken in the hospital the day we were born . I'll probably do another post like this in a few months just because they change so much in such a short period of time. Parker totally started out looking like a Score but now he looks exactly how I did when I was his age. So more pics to come. But for now, Who do you think looks like who?? Father's are the BEST!! Wouldn't you agree? I'm certainly a big fan! I have been so blessed to be surrounded by great fathers my whole life. My own father really is the best! I remember how much I looked up to him as a little kid. All my favorite songs had to do with him; "My daddy is my favorite pal" "I'm so glad when daddy comes home" "My dad's the greatest dad" to name a few. I sang them all the time. He was so great at making time for us and somehow always had energy to play with us after a long days work. He found ways to spoil us and always slipped us a little cash when mom wasn't looking. I'm so blessed and so grateful that Heavenly Father sent me to be a part of his family. My next closes example of a great dad is my Hubby! You guessed it! It is finally time for the story of how this little lady got here. Just to warn you, it is long and I will be rather detailed just for the fact that this is my current journal, but I'll try to bold the important parts so you don't have to read the whole thing if you don't want to. As most of you know, I was pretty anxious to get this little lady here. I had to remind myself everyday that the longer she was in there, the bigger and healthier she was getting. I didn't really "try" anything except walking however, when I reached my 39 week mark I was officially ready. No real news at my appointment, I was dilated to a 2+ and the doctor said he would be shocked if I didn't have the baby within the week, but we still decided to strip my membranes in hopes that would speed up the process a bit. Whoever thought of this is truly a genius! I saw some the other day and they were on sale so I just had to try them. I can honestly say they might be my new favorite candy. They are sooooo good! Jeff even liked them and he is not a big coconut fan. It has taken every fiber of my being to not go out and buy some everyday because they were that good! Maybe if I find a good sale again I will stock up. All I can say is I hope they stay around a while. I also saw these at Target the other day . . . They also look delicious and I cant wait to try them. I hope they are like the Crispy M&M's which have been discontinued for a while now. I need to go buy a pack and see how they are, but I cant imagine them being anything but wonderful!

15 Months That is how old my little man is today. It is hard to believe, especially now that he actually seems big to me compared to Emily. His size never really hit me since I was with him, and holding him 24-7. Now that I'm mostly caring for Emily, when I even touch him I'm shocked at just how thick and strong he is! He really is no longer a baby, he is officially my little boy! He has transitioned REALLY well into being a Big Brother. Honestly I am shocked at how well he is doing. He just adores Emily! He loves to be near her and any time he sees or even hears her he shouts "Ba-by" and runs over to her. He has learned how to "Be Nice" as we call it and loves to pet her head. He really just loves to be near her, it is the cutest thing! Aside from being a Big Brother, he is still quite a busy boy! He is always doing something and it is usually something very silly. A big post with loads of pictures is in the works, but in the mean time this should hold you over a little while. This little clip shows how well Parker is adjusting to having a little sister. He is so cute with her and loves to be "nice" as he says which means he wants to pet her. He gets so excited any time he sees her and he says "Ba-by!" Like he does in the video over and over. He is so stinking cute and she is too! Sorry it isn't a very good shot of her, but I really wanted to remember how he interacted with her right from the start.
