10 Wonderful Years

Today marks the 10th anniversary of when Jeff and I met. It was the first day of school our Freshman year. (I know we look about 10 but we are actually 15 in this picture) We instantly became friends which was weird because Jeff was so shy and I was so crazy, but it happened and it happened fast. Throughout all of High School we got closer and closer until we were best friends. We finally started dated our senior year. (Senior Ball) We graduated together. Went to college together. And continued to just have fun and be silly together. The time came for Jeff to go on a mission. It was hard and we didn't know what would happen. But though many letters we able to strengthen our friendship and our testimonies. Jeff returned, both of us having grown in experience and the gospel which made things better then ever! And we decided to "seal"the deal. Our life began, just the two of us. We were still silly and had lots of fun. We did everything together Every day was a new advent...

Dear Pinkie Toe,

Dear Pinkie Toe, I am sorry I was careless and injured you so. I was in a hurry and didn't see That I would whack you on that vacuum next to me. Now you are big and swollen too, You even turned all black and blue. I thought you would be healed by now, Unfortunately I keep hitting you some-how. At least this injury has taught me a lesson, That my pinkie toes is one of my prized possessions. I never know how much you did for me, I cant stand, or walk without you, you see. From this day forth I will take a vow, because hurting you has mad me frown. I'll treat you better and never forget, That a broken toe is as bad as it gets! Love, Bec

Summer Projects

Well, this summer has been great and filled with lots and lots of things for me to do. My main project this summer was to go through all my crap that is still at my parents house and get rid of / condense it all. What a feat that has been! It has pretty much taken all summer! Ha Ha, well not really, but it sure feels like it. In all of my piles of stuff I had MANY unfinished project so that is what my summer has really been full of. Here are a few pictures of those accomplishments, I feel pretty good about myself. And I am happy that I have been able to get some things done and get ride of a lot of the stuff I really don't need, but I'm sure I'm not nearly as happy as my mom is! : ) Thanks mom for your Patients and Unconditional Love and for letting me store some things in your home still. I promise, someday I will get it all out. You're the Best!! This is an advent calender I bought 3 years ago. After working on it off and on it is finally done! Mini ornaments and al...

3, 4, & 5 Months

Man, I'm either a slacker or time flies!! Maybe a little bit of both. This summer has FLOWN by! We only have a couple weeks left here in CA which is sad but we are excited to get back to Utah and all of our friends there. But Parker has grown like a weed this summer! It is so hard to believe. Even compared to other babies I see, he is a giant in comparison. I looked up his stats the other day and they are as follows: Weight: 17 lbs - 50-75% Height: 24.5 inches - 5-10% Head circumference - 18% ABOVE 95% So he is short with average weight and a HUGE noggin, but I don't think he looks out of proportion but then again I am a little biased. Anyway, here are some pictures from the past 3 months, sorry I am such a slacker, hopefully I'll be better once we get back to school. Enjoy! Some of my recent favorites: He still screams bloody murder if you dare interrupt him while he is eating and I still find it hilarious. He is laughing a lot more now which is the BEST! He is always sm...

A Weekend Away & Parker's First Swim

Our good friends invited us to spend a weekend at a Cabin a little while back. I say cabin loosely because it was really a second home located in the woods. It was SUPER nice! I honestly felt like we were in a hotel. We were so grateful for the invite, especially because we did not get any vacations this summer. It has been all about work and Jeff's internship so a weekend away was just what we needed. Like I said the "Cabin" was amazing! It was like a little resort/gated community in the forest. It was set on a golf course which added to the view. While we mostly relaxed, we also went on a little hike, swimming, and hung out. It was the perfect trip, the only thing that could have made it better would be if it was longer. Thanks so much for the invite!! Our Gracious Hosts The Living Room The Beautiful Kitchen Our sweet Indian Themed Room. I think I counted 35 Canoes. A view from the Back Porch. Parker's First Hike. The little lake we hiked to. The cabin was in a l...
