Diapers: and the winner is . . . .

We have been so blessed since Parker's arrival. We received many wonderful gifts and among those gifts were tons of diapers. Diapers for various brands including: Huggies Pampers Walmart - Parent's Choice Costco - Kirkland We received so many diapers in fact that I just bought our first box and Parker is now 4 months old! So to all of you who contributed to our diaper cause, THANK YOU!!! As a result of receiving so many different types of diapers, we were able to put them all to the test to find out which brand we liked best. And after trying literally hundreds of diapers for each brand we have finally reached a conclusion. . . Costco wins!! Although all the diapers failed/leaked at one point Kirkland had the fewest. And Lucky for us they are the cheapest too! I love Costco!! On a side note, sorry it has been so long since I have posted. Life is Great here in CA! We are having a blast and Parker is growing like a weed! He is now laughing, so as soon as we get it on tap...

When did you start solid food?

So I was going to start the P-Man on Rice Cereal today. Of all the recommended readiness signs he has the majority. But as I did more research this morning I found a lot of things that said wait until they are at least 4 months. So I'm curious to you experienced Mom's out there, When did you start your babies on cereal/food other then breastmilk? I'll take all the advice you give, THANKS! Parker's Stat's: Over 13 lbs Can sit with support Can hold head up(since 1 month) Eats like a monster, I have to give him way more then the recommended amount for his age (which is what mostly tells me he needs something more) Let me know what you think!

A Steal of a Deal!

So my old YW's leader called me randomly the other day and said "Hey, I was at a garage sale today and I found one of those bouncer things for only $20!" I was like, "Well thanks for thinking of me, but we already have a bouncer." She then corrected herself, "No NO, I mean one of those things they sit in with toys all around, they are usually about $100" Immediately thought, ExerSaucer? I said, "Awesome, we were planning on getting one of those soon, that would be great!" So she got it. When I went over to get it I found that is was the ExerSaucer ® Triple Fun ™ Active Learning Center ™ which seems to be the newest one and the one with the most gismos and gadgits. And the best thing about it is that it is as good as new! I am so excited about it! And Parker is so strong that he can already sit in it at three months! (they reccommend 4 months) But really, I'm so excited! He is a picture of Parker in it for the first time. Ri...
