Oil Change Fun

Sounds like an oxymoron right? Well, it is true. Our car was in need of an oil change and had been for a while. When Jeff and I were filing the other night we found a coupon for a free oil change at the place we bought our car from that expired this month. So needless to say we used it. Jeff told me not to worry about making an appointment, so I didn't. We get there and there was a line, so I unloaded the kids, put them in the stroller and gave them snacks to help us wait patiently. Finally our turn. "Just an oil change" I say. "Do you have an appointment? we are at full capacity. Awesome. He was super nice though and ran back to the garage to see if they could squeeze us in and they did. So nice of them. Chuck-E-Cheese just happened to be directly across the street so we dropped the car off and walked over. I was excited to take the kids there because I had heard good things about it from friends. A Christmas Miracle

So the P-man loves trains. He sat on Santa's lap so bravely and asked for a "Train track" for Christmas. During nursery on Sundays he plays with the train, anytime we go anywhere that has a train set he plays and pretty much refuses to leave. So Jeff and I decided that is what we were going to get him for Christmas. We decided this months ago, like 6 months ago. Her friend told her about this Brio Train set and table that had just come in and they were only selling it for $35. She thought of us and gave Grandma a call to see if we were i...

A Tree, A Dress, & 5 years

Hey Folks, Well, I feel like it has been forever since I last posted even though it has only been a week. I was on such a blogging kick for a while, I was blogging like a crazy lady. Well, I'm back to real life where it doesn't appear that I have time for blogging but the hubs is working on something right now and I don't really feel like being productive so here I am. Life is pretty much amazing right now. This is one of my most favorite times of the year. The fact that Christmas, My Birthday, Our Anniversary, and New Years are all within one week of each other might have something to do with it, but either way, I love it! My house is all festive, we are eating lots of junk food (not that that is something new, but I feel more justified about it), the hubs hours aren't too crazy yet, and I really do LOVE this toddler phase our kiddos are in. Have I mentioned that our 5th Anniversary is this year? I'm pretty stoked about it. We have been pretty lame about Anniv...
