Feeding Bear

Perhaps it is time for me to stop nursing Em . OK , so not really, but at first I didn't know what to do. Then I thought about it for a minute, and saw how sweet and serene he was while he did it. He is in love with this bear. This past week he has come everywhere with us: to the grocery store, to the library, on walks, to both grand parents homes, EVERYWHERE. At first I was annoyed, but now it is kinda cute. He tells it he loves him, and gives him hugs and kisses, he even sings to him. So for now I'm just going to let him play and care for bear in any way he knows how. We will worry about correcting gender roles when he gets a little older. ;)

Have you heard?

So I am the kind of person who likes to blog hop looking for fun ideas for the kids, for craft tutorials, for home decor ideas which used to mean I would have 20+ windows open at a time so I would remember that I wanted to do something I found on some blog who knows how long ago. This would drive the hubs crazy, not to mention slow down the computer so I would end up emailing myself all the links and try to remember to go back and see why I saved it in the first place. That was until one of my wonderful friends introduced me to: I might possible be the most amazing Internet idea yet. It is a place to catalog and organize all the sweet stuff you find online. I originally got it for crafting purposes, but now have much more than that. Click here to get an idea, this is my boards and pins. There are so many sweet ideas around and here I can follow other people and save what they find. Seriously, I LOVE this site! I even got Jeff hooked! I must admit, I am a little addicted to it...

1 Down, 3 to Go

Well, I survived week one! It actually went by super fast! I think it is because I had a ton of things going on last week. Lots of activities for the kids, a lesson to prepare, my first 3 tiered cake to make, and a much needed trip to the temple! I even planned a little surprise birthday party for Jeff for the family which gave me something to really be excited about. It was a complete success, he had no clue! I also have a secret friend who has been bringing me little love/support notes and goodies every day! Whoever you are, the words THANK YOU are certainly not enough. The little notes, love and support helped more than you will ever know. I honestly have no clue who you are or even if you read my blog, but if you do Thank you! Yesterday at church I was feeling good going into week two. I thought last week went by relatively smooth and fast, so this one should too. Apparently I was wrong. Today felt longer than the entire past week combined!! Not to mention our stinki...

I'm a Widow

O-Kay, so not really; but kind of. Jeff is out of town on business for the next 4 weeks. I feel like it could not have come at a worse time. There are tons of things going on right now, P has been a major pill lately (you know like those HUGE ones that you cant seem to swallow), Em is just feisty and has a temper that I did not know was possible and by the way is STILL NOT SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT. Lets just say, this past week was really hard and I even had my husband around. So thinking about last week and then magnifying since I'll be alone and multiplying that by 4 what quite overwhelming . To say I had my fair share of breakdowns this weekend would be an understatement. I feel bad for my poor children because I am just not the fun mom that I usually am/want to me. My patients is short, I'm a grump , I'm depressed , and I am just physically and mentally exhausted . But after a good cry, OK ... maybe more than one ... and an obviously inspired lesson jus...
