Birthday fun at Pixiland

We are lucky enough to live within walking distance to a kids amusement park.  
Parker got a bunch of tickets to Pixiland for his birthday.
My dad's birthday just happens to be a few days after P.  So when I asked the kids what they wanted to do for grandpa on his birthday they said "Take Grandpa to Pixiland!"
So we offered and he accepted.  Thus leading to a very fun day for kids and grandparents alike.  

The Cars were up first.
  Then the Teacups. 

Then the carousel was up next but no pictures because I rode that one with them.

Then Em decided to be all brave and fly and airplane.
P really wanted to, but just didn't have the courage.  After he saw Em go and have fun he almost did, but really didn't want to go by himself.  At that point we were out of tickets.  When we got back to the car he so sweetly asked Em if she would ride with him next time we come.  I love my brave little girl and my sweet and cautious little boy.  And love even more that they are best buddies and love to help each other.

We sure had fun celebrating Grandpa's birthday with him.  My kids are the luckiest kids around to have this amazing man as their Grandpa.  His love for them is evident with every word he speaks and ever action he makes.  So fun to see him as a Grandpa and how his world stops as soon as they walk into his presences and all his attention is on them.  I sure do have a lot to learn from him.

Kid's Talks

  Riley’s Primary Talk on Baptism 3/15/20 Today I want to talk on Baptism.   Being baptized is a commandment from Heavenly Father.   We have to be baptized to make it back to Him.   Even Jesus Christ was baptized.   If Jesus Christ was baptized we should be baptized too.   When we turn 8 years old we can choose to follow Jesus Christ’s example and be baptized too.   When we are baptized and confirmed we become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.     If you have already been baptized, you should remember the covenants, or promises you made.   If you have not been baptized, you should study and pray and keep the commandments so that when you turn 8 years old you will be ready.
