Well, our Blockbuster trial finally ended and here are the last few movies we rented. Nothing fantastic, but at least it entertained me while Jeff was doing HW (i watched most of these on my own). Part of me is sad the trial has ended, but at the same time it is a good thing. I think my evening productivity will go back up now as I was putting things off to try and take advantage of all the free movies. Also, since we actually didn't like most of the movies we saw, we are glad we didn't waste our money on them. HAHA! Back to the redbox we shall go for the ones we really want to see.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and NEVER watch this movie!! It was really one of the dumbest movies we have ever seen. We were so excited to watch a suspenseful movie, something we haven't done in a while, but really it was horrible!!! The story is worse then you can possibly imagine, and the ending is even worse then that! I guess the only thing I liked about it was the overall message was about how the selfishness of individuals is corrupting society, but really . . . what an AWFUL AWFUL Plot!

This one was actually pretty cute. We enjoyed it. And we recently saw Adam Sandler on some late night show and they were talking about how it was kind of weird to see him in a Disney movie. He mentioned that since having kids he is even appalled by some of the things he did which I thought was interesting. So it is always nice to have a funny yet CLEAN movie.

I have seen this one sitting on the movie shelf for years and it has always peaked my interest so I decided to get it. First let me say that movies have come a LONG way! HAHA! But it was a cute, I liked it.

I had no idea what to expect with this one, I had never heard of it before but since I am now a mother, it interested me. It was OK, not my favorite movie, but I do think it is quite practical in the fact that I think every mother does go through the same kinds of things. So it was a good reminder to me as I am still a relatively new mother how wonderful motherhood really is and how it really is more important than any other job. But to remember the importance of making time for yourself so you can feel a sense of who you are outside of being a mother.

I had never heard of this until it was a preview on another movie we had rented and it looked cute enough. It actually ended up being one of my favorite movies we rented. It was really cute and had a little twist to your average chick flick. It was pretty funny too. I'm glad we rented this one.

This was one I was really looking forward to and was then quite disappointed. It looked so cute and funny on the previews but it was actually really sad. And I don't mean just the ending, the entire movie was really sad. Not quite what I was expecting, but I guess it wasn't horrible. But not my favorite movie for sure.

This one was pretty cute. I'm sure we will end up owning it at some point just because we have kids and it was a good kids movie. It was funny and a good story. I had never read the book so I had no idea what it was about so it was entertaining for me too.
Thank You Blockbuster for 30 days of free movies!

And Mr. Mom, I grew up with! Movies have come a long way--yes, but I'm glad you liked it. I've always liked it!
