Life According to Instagram: September

Since I have become an avid Instagramer and I usual post my favorite pictures or moments on there I decided to start a "Life According to Instagram" every month.  I love instagram for the simple fact that I can use it to capture the  little moments of every day life.  They are the things that are so easy to forget yet often mean the most. The kids are truly growing up before my eyes and I don't want to miss a thing.  So here is the grand debut! Enjoy!

1. This is Love. Best big brother ever.
2. This little girl was made for gymnastics
3. 90 degrees calls for a pool day.  So long sweet summer.
4.  Sunday fun with daddy.
5. Arrrgh!! We got us some pirate booty today in the form of 2 dozen doughnuts.
6. The cutest pirates you ever did see!
7. Her first blowout.
8. Their toy choices for the day.  Nature vs. Nurture?
9. Riley is getting so strong!  Love family tummy time.
10. Is it just me or is this little boy VERY good at coloring within the lines?  He's already better than me.  Best coloring book ever and only cost me 50 cents!
11. The countdown has officially begun!
12. Afternoon naps in the car while daddy runs errands.
13. How to entertain you children for 2 hours when you feel like crap.
14. Did you know this kid can be Captain Hook & Peter Pan at the same time?  He even reenacts the entire story word for word.
15. Em has really been into drawing and writing lately.  Here is her interpretation of our family.
16. First trip to target alone with 3.  Remembered everything I came fore, got lots of sales, remembered to pay for everything hiding under Riley, remembered my pin, left with one kid asleep, one crying, and one happy and obedient; I even put the cart away... I'd call that a success!!

1.  All my babies at 2 months old.
2. Getting out some wiggles on the trampoline before bedtime
3. A much needed date night with the hubs & first time leaving Riley.
4. Guess who slept from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am last night.  That is 10 hrs people!  It is going to be a great day!
5. Watching my parents be grandparents is one of my favorite things.
6. This little miss is too hot to be swaddled and too wiggly to stay asleep, yet too tired to keep her eyes open for more than a minute.
7. Backyard camping with my favorite peeps.  Love Em's marshmallow and chocolate sandwich.
8. When me and my mom found these matching dresses we could not pass them up!  I guess I'm officially that kind of mom.
9. Holidays are much more fun with kids!  We were so excited for Halloween we decorated a little bit early this year.
10. Broken flip flop while on a walk, milk leaking on shirt, two crying kids and what did I do?  Laugh!  And then take them to the park.
11. Morning walks with 3 kids in one stroller.  At least they love each other!
12. I love that she can already put herself to sleep even amidst the chaos.  Best baby ever.  She is a Score alright.
13. P had his first day of soccer.  He loved it!
14. Tagged grandma's house for her birthday.
15. The kids started gymnastics and I am seriously way too excited about it.  Our favorite day of the week!
16. After a rough morning with all 3 kids I am laying down next to this sweet girl and cherishing every minute.

What to pack . . .

So now that he really could come ANY DAY I figured it was probably time for me to pack my bag. I of course have one of those "What to bring" checklist, but I was wondering what your thoughts where. Is there anything you wish you had brought but didn't? Is there anything you would have died without if you hadn't brought it? I'm just so clueless! A few tips from you experienced mothers would be greatly appreciated!! I cant believe it is so close!!

Have you noticed?

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. The last few times I have really CUT my hair, not just a trim, I was not pleased with the results. Now it would probably help if I was willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut . . . but I'm Mrs. High Pockets as my father calls me and it is really hard for me to spend money on my hair. So I need your help! What do you think I should do? Before you make any suggestions you should know: It MUST be able to go back into a ponytail!!!!!!! My hair is STICK STRAIGHT My hair will not curl to save my life (via over night curls, hot curls, even curling irons, they just don't work) I want and need something EASY! I do not like to spend time on my hair and I don...

No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk . . .

So being an emotional pregnant woman is definitely taking its tole on both me and Jeff (what a wonderful, patient, and understanding man he is). Saturday morning I was so excited because for the first time in weeks we actually had a morning together. I had planned to make us a delicious breakfast just like my dad always did for me. We had Eggs, Hashbrowns, and even Bacon; we were so excited. So I started cooking the bacon first, knowing it would take the longest. Then when I thought they were close to being done, Jeff started cooking the eggs and I threw on the hashbrowns. Well, needless to say, the eggs finished super fast and the others were not even close. And then to add more to my frustration the pan I was using for the hashbrowns was awful! Despite my many tablespoons of butter the entire thing was completely stuck! I switched pans in the middle to try to save them. In the meantime Jeff ate his eggs so they wouldn't get cold. I insisted on waiting so I could eat th...
