Preschool Graduation

So obviously this is over 2 months old... but the kids graduated from Preschool!  Woo Hoo!

It was just a short preschool program, only about 12 weeks so not a major difference in these first day vs. last day pictures but there was a huge difference it what they learned and how they acted.  School taught the kids a lot of thing but the things I noticed the most were:

Raising hands to speak
Sitting Criss-Cross-Applesauce
Major increase in Creative Play

I am so glad we had the opportunity to be a part of this program, it really is awesome!  The kids were so sad when it ended and are extremely excited to go back next year!

The High School students put together this adorable graduation program complete with the band playing Pomp & Circumstance and the kids marching out in their cap and gowns.  Adorable!  Em of course refused to wear her cap or gown and really had no desire to participate at all, little stinker.  By the end of course she was back to her old self, posing for pictures with all the teachers and running around with a huge smile on her face, just not for the little ceremony.


They recited the words to a cute song, I wish I could remember what it was called and then called the kids up one by one to slide down the slide and receive their diploma.

P-man did great!

Em protested the whole way.

They also made adorable little awards for each kid.  
Emily got "Little Miss Sunshine"
Parker got "Mr. Smiles"

Here P is with their buddies.  So fun to go to school with their friends but they also made many new friends too!

So proud of my little man! 

Love this little girl, stubbornness and all!

After the ceremony we got to play, eat, and visit.  The kids had fun running around the playground with their friends one last time.

 All smiles!  

I loved how great the High School students were.  It was obvious that they each had such a love for the kids.  They all wanted to give hugs and get pictures with them, it was so sweet.


And here the kids are with their Awards, Diplomas, and "Me Book" that they made this year.

Such an awesome program!  Can't wait to do it again next year!

Kid's Talks

  Riley’s Primary Talk on Baptism 3/15/20 Today I want to talk on Baptism.   Being baptized is a commandment from Heavenly Father.   We have to be baptized to make it back to Him.   Even Jesus Christ was baptized.   If Jesus Christ was baptized we should be baptized too.   When we turn 8 years old we can choose to follow Jesus Christ’s example and be baptized too.   When we are baptized and confirmed we become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.     If you have already been baptized, you should remember the covenants, or promises you made.   If you have not been baptized, you should study and pray and keep the commandments so that when you turn 8 years old you will be ready.
