So remembered how I said I was a horrible mom this Christmas in not capturing all the classic Christmas moments?
Well Guess what!
I found my dad's long lost camera on which I also found some Christmas Morning Pictures.
Although they may not be as cute as so many of my friends, and I still missed a few shots that I'd love to try and capture next year, but I'm just happy I have at least SOMETHING to document our own little Christmas.
Here the kids are Christmas morning, in their Christmas PJs super excited to come out and see what Santa brought.
Santa was VERY good to us this year, but before you think we went too crazy, we got everything in this first picture for free with the exception of the Helmet and the little princesses in the doll house.
This was their first view.
And then Just to the side of that here was the other view.
The Rapunzel and Maximus dolls were not originally part of Christmas. I was going to save it for her birthday. But I found this idea online that had the kid leave their binkies (pacifiers) out for Santa and he would leave and extra special present in return. We were slightly desperate and decided to give it a shot. Well, it worked! We are binky free as of Christmas Day!
I only had three gifts for the kids to actually open from me and Jeff. Basically a few clothes and books. Santa did such a great job we didn't need to do much or really anything but it was the principle of the thing. :)
P was Super excited about his new Spider-man Sweatshirt.
The after math. I really should have posted the video, it seriously was priceless. I loved that the kids were so excited about each other's gifts. "Look Parker!!" or "WOW EM! Look at this!" It was such a fun morning.
Here is one last shot of Em trying on her new princess high heals. I got them from a friends garage sale and she LOVES them! She was always wearing mine anyway, so she loves that she has her own now.
Anyway, Yay for not being as big of a slacker as I thought! :)
