Well, since it is Valentines day and all...
And I totally neglected to mention our Anniversary...
It time again for one of those lovey dovey posts about my one and only Valentine!
(I know some of these pics are repeats, but I just can't get enough of them!)
So this Valentines/Anniversary post I want to dedicate to my top 6 greatest memories of us.
(since we celebrated our 6th anniversary in December)
1. The day we met.
I will never ever forget the first day of school our Freshman year.
I will never forget how we ended up having most of our classes together.
I will never forget how quickly we became friends.
I will never forget how you used to come watch my basketball games.
I will never forget how much we teased each other this first year of friendship.
And I will never forget how I hoped we would be more than friends.
2. The day you asked me to be your wife
I will never forget how sick I was this day.
I will never forget how nervous yet giddy you were.
I will never forget our dance right there on temple grounds and how I felt like we were the only two people in the world.
And more importantly I will never forget the sweet words you said to me before you asked me to be yours for time and all eternity.
3. The day you and me became WE
I will never forget how I beat you to the temple and when you drove up I ran to your car to greet you because I was so excited!
I will never forget how big your smile was that day.
I will never forget our tender moment sitting just us right before we were married.
I will never forget the look on your face as we sealed to each other forever.
4. Having crazy college adventures together
I will never forget how we both magically started getting straight A's after we were married.
I will never forget how you sacrificed your body so we could have a little extra cash.
I will never forget our first home.
I will never forget how understanding you were as I was learning to be a wife; for example making tacos without the taco seasoning.
I will never forget how excited we were to do thing together.
5. The day you became a daddy
I will never forget how you stayed by my side.
I will never forget how willing you were to help me.
I will never forget the look on your face as the nurse told me to start pushing and then proceeded to leave the room leaving just you and me kind of freaking out.
I will never forget the look on your face the first time you held our son.
6. The day we became 4.
I will never forget how you treated me to anything and everything I wanted from Kneaders the day I went in.
I will never forget how worried you were about P the whole time we were at the hospital.
I will never forget the first time we were together as a family of 4.
Well, here we are 14 years later. Even more in love than ever before.
It is hard to believe that we have officially known each other half our lives!
I honestly cannot remember life before you.
I cannot imagine life without you.
You truly are my best friend in the whole wide world.
I'm amazed at how far we have come over the years, the adventures, the trials, the amazing amounts of joy. These truly have been the best years of my life. And they say it is only going to get better. I'm not sure how that is even possible, but I can hardly wait.
I love you more than life!
