Let me just say, it was an AWESOME day! It feels so good to be so productive. It feels so good to spend the whole day with my family. It feels good to be me!
The kids were so great today. The story of the bed is kind of a long story, so I'll save that for a separate post. But the kids LOVE it! I'm a little worried, because it is a loft bed, but it is only 3 1/2 feet off the ground and it has good walls so that helps. Parker keeps saying "This bed is so cool!" "This bed has a ladder AND a slide!" "I love my new bed!" Em on the other hand, when she was getting ready for bed kept asking for her bed. Now I feel kind of bad. :( But we didn't have all the pieces to it and she is just getting to big for it since I can't get it to go lower. She kept getting her legs stuck between the slats, and P kept getting in there and jumping like crazy, it was time. I didn't think she would care, I thought she would be excited about her new bed too, but she was so sad when she asked for her bed tonight. Hopefully when we get her a new mattress and some cool sheets {probably Dora} she will be more ready and excited. I am not quite ready to play the jack-in-the-box game when she starts sleeping in her big girl bed. Really not looking forward to that. For now, she wants the pack-n-play and I am totally fine with that.
Well, it is getting late and the Easter bunny still needs to stop by. But really, awesome day! I just wanted to write it down and remember, so sorry it was a little boring to read. Hope you have a very wonderful Easter tomorrow!

Whenever Emi climbs into bed (a month after the initial transition) she'll says, "Make girl bed!" because for weeks I told her we'd make her a big girl bed.
And WOW you had a busy day! You are a rockstar! Are you sure that was one day? That is seriously impressive!
We got macey and miles bunk beds, but have yet to transition Miles out of the crib. I figure I'll keep him in there as long as possible! I have a feeling he won't be as easy as Macey was.
