National Park Week

So Last week was National Park Week meaning you get into all National Parks for free.

Please note, this does not mean every park in the nation. I kind of had an inactive brain as I was co-planning this little outing and tried to get in to a State Park for free. My bad. Luckily an ATM wasn't too far away.

ANYWAY, we met up with some of our buddies for a fun day at Rock City with the kiddos.

We climbed, we hiked, we ate, we talked, and we enjoyed a beautiful day outdoors.

It was so much fun!

I did make the mistake of letting P lead the way so our little toddler nature walk really did turn into more of a hike but the kids big (us) and small (the kids) did great!

P is such a great climber! He did this one all by himself!

He got hysterical! Nap time was long overdue. I felt bad. So much for being a cool mom.

We of course brought a delicious picnic lunch which the kids ate as they roamed around.

Heavenly Father must know my preferred method for giving a talk is procrastinating because I have been called to fill in last minute on many occasions. Kid's Talks

Riley’s Primary Talk on Baptism 3/15/20 Today I want to talk on Baptism. Being baptized is a commandment from Heavenly Father. We have to be baptized to make it back to Him. Even Jesus Christ was baptized. If Jesus Christ was baptized we should be baptized too. When we turn 8 years old we can choose to follow Jesus Christ’s example and be baptized too. When we are baptized and confirmed we become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you have already been baptized, you should remember the covenants, or promises you made. If you have not been baptized, you should study and pray and keep the commandments so that when you turn 8 years old you will be ready. We should all remember how important baptism is.
