So Ready for Summer

If you know me, you probably know I am a summer girl.

Like, I wish it was summer all year round kind of a girl.

Like, I'm trying to convince the hubs to move to AZ I love 100 degree weather kind of girl.

Like, I might have grey sky/rain-induced depression kind of girl

I know, it may sound a little extreme, but really, I LOVE SUMMER!

We finally started getting so decent weather around here and were able to suit up for the first time this year.

One of our best buddies had a birthday and it was a super nice day so they busted out the pool and turned on the sprinklers and they all had a grand old time.

I am super excited because I think Em is going to take after me in my love of water.

And in summer activities in general.

She obviously stole the show of my camera on this day.

But she just looked so darn cute in that swimsuit!

She had a blast playing with the "big girls"

and running through the sprinklers

She even dunked her own face in on purpose a few times!

Seriously, buying this suit was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made!

I love this little miss & I love the water

I think we have an AMAZING summer in store for us!

I'M SO EXCITED!

Have you noticed?

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. The last few times I have really CUT my hair, not just a trim, I was not pleased with the results. Now it would probably help if I was willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut . . . but I'm Mrs. High Pockets as my father calls me and it is really hard for me to spend money on my hair. So I need your help! What do you think I should do? Before you make any suggestions you should know: It MUST be able to go back into a ponytail!!!!!!! My hair is STICK STRAIGHT My hair will not curl to save my life (via over night curls, hot curls, even curling irons, they just don't work) I want and need something EASY! Em's Blessing

Emily's Blessing day was so great! Since we were moving home so soon after she was born, we decided to just wait until we got out here to CA so our family could be there for it. It was pretty low key compared to P's (and by that I mean less family there) but was still just as wonderful. Jeff gave a beautiful blessing. It was also special because she wore the dress I was sealed to my parents in. Jeff wasn't a fan of how long it was for such a small baby, but it was so neat for her to wear something that is so special in my family. The P-man looked like a little stud in his outfit too! I wish I would have gotten some of the two of them together, o-well. It was a fabulous day! Thanks so much for all the family and friends that were there, it meant so much to have you there and we missed those who couldn't come! Isn't she so perfect! I love this picture of her laying on the grass. She is so pure and clean and perfect ! I love her!

Disneyland

A little late but . . . We Went To Disneyland! So you may or may not know that we went to Disneyland back in July. It was so much fun! As we were planning the trip I was really worried about how it would be taking 2 babies there, in my mind they were way too young to do anything there but boy was I wrong! All of us had a great time and we all went on tons of rides, even Emily!
