More Scrapbooking

Well, as you know I have been on quite a roll lately with the scrapbooking. Well, I was hoping to keep it going tonight while we watched a movie, but my darn pictures haven't come yet!! I've been expecting them since Monday! Well, I guess I'll just be proud of the fact that I had nothing to work on until I got more pictures. And I have all the way to our Anniversary (Dec. 30th) up to date, on paper, and journaled!!

So I have this fear that someday my house will burn down and all of my scrapbooks will burn right along with it. So when I took pictures of my pages the other day to post, it gave me the idea to take a picture of all my pages, so I will at least always have a digital copy of all my hard work. I know, it sounds kind of silly, but it does bring me a lot of comfort. Jeff thinks I'm silly, but they do mean a lot to me, not to mention they really are a journal of my life.

It was fun looking through everything again. And I must say, I am proud of what I have accomplished!! I started the actual 12x12 scrapbooks for my sophomore year and have kept it up until now, so that is where the pictures begin. So many memories! So much fun! And I have CLEARLY improved in regards to how good it looks, but either way, it is done and on paper and is documenting my life for the past 6 years! I have 3 1/2 binders full of pretty pages, pictures, and journal entries (as I was trying to decide which ones to post I counted and by that I mean had the computer count how many I have done . . . 114 double pages!!!! WOW!! That is an accomplishment!!! No wonder I had so many after I narrowed it down).

Anyway, enough with the rambling, I figured I would share some of my favorites with you. (I'll keep the not so good ones to myself and those who choose to come see them in person. :))

OMg I LOVE that first page! I have all of these scrap momentos stashed in a folder like movie ticket stubs etc. I've been meaning to put them ina scrap book for soo long. You inspire me!

Rebecca they are wonderful pages! as I said on you last scrapbook post I am just amazed at how you do it. How do you keep up with it? My goal in life is to be like you! P.S. how did you do the negative thing on the engagement page? I really like it. And I don't think you are silly for taking pictures of them. I know how you feel about your hard work. I would do the same.

You are definitely on a roll. I am so far behind on my scrapbooking! I am a little jealous. You are doing a great job. The Circut makes your pages look so professional and probably easier to do.

Also - I think you will like Parker walking around by the time your baby girl is here. He will be a little independent. You won't be HAVING to hold 2 babies at the same time. It will still be hard for a little while but worth it. I feel that way with the girls only being 17 1/2 months apart. It was hard at first but they play with each other really well. Parker will hopefully be a great big brother and helper and a love his little sister.

You will appreciate these so much in the future. You're doing a great job of recording your personal history for your posterity too. I wish I had such a wonderful record of the important (and not so important) events in my life. Good Job!

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. Em's Blessing

Emily's Blessing day was so great! Since we were moving home so soon after she was born, we decided to just wait until we got out here to CA so our family could be there for it. It was pretty low key compared to P's (and by that I mean less family there) but was still just as wonderful. Jeff gave a beautiful blessing. It was also special because she wore the dress I was sealed to my parents in. Jeff wasn't a fan of how long it was for such a small baby, but it was so neat for her to wear something that is so special in my family. The P-man looked like a little stud in his outfit too! I wish I would have gotten some of the two of them together, o-well. It was a fabulous day! Thanks so much for all the family and friends that were there, it meant so much to have you there and we missed those who couldn't come! Isn't she so perfect! I love this picture of her laying on the grass. She is so pure and clean and perfect ! I love her!

Disneyland

A little late but . . . We Went To Disneyland! So you may or may not know that we went to Disneyland back in July. It was so much fun! As we were planning the trip I was really worried about how it would be taking 2 babies there, in my mind they were way too young to do anything there but boy was I wrong! All of us had a great time and we all went on tons of rides, even Emily!
