What We Love to Do!

Jeff and I Love to do many things! We have a wide variety of interests, unfortunately school keeps us pretty busy so we dont have much time to do anything but study. But you have to make time every once and a while so when we do, this is what we do!

BONDOCKS!
We have only been here once but it was a blast! They have all sorts of fun things such as lazer tag, rock climbing, mini golf, go carts, and video games. We went with Tyler and Kiel and i'm happy to report I wopped 'em at go carts! Jeff and Tyler always rave about riding go carts on the Dodger trip so I had to prove myself. I didn't lose a single race! But the we had fun doing everything. Our second favorite thing to do was play lazer tag. We were all like little kids again. We can't wait to go back!

Hand & Foot
We love playing cards and one of our favorite games is Hand & Foot. We would frequently have Jaime and Buhler over to play with us. The games would get pretty intense, but we mostly just laughed at each other. You see, we would play into the wee hours of the morning, i.e. 3:00 a.m., so we would all get awfully silly. We would get together at least every time we had to do night security for the Branbury. Sadly we havn't gotten together in a few months because Jaime is serving a mission in Seattle, WA. We are so proud of her, but miss playing with them! Good times!

24
Before we got married, Jeff's roommates got us addicted to Prison Break. We love that show! It is so intense. So during the summer, there is nothing good on TV so we decided to start watching 24. We are sad to admit that we watched 5 complete seasons of this show this summer. It is ridiculous when you think about it and calculate the hours; we were deffinitly addicted! We watched episodes of 24 instead of watching movies. We have recently finished season six as well thanks to Tyler and are anticipating the start of season 7. This makes us sound like avid TV watchers but honestly during the school year we NEVER turn on the TV. Only once a week on the weekend to watch a movie together. So we really arn't that bad I promise. But we do love this show!

Concerts
We love going to concerts and have been to quite a few: New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Saves the Day, Senses Fail, and all the bands that they played with. We have a lot of fun, especially when we go with a bunch of friends. We mainly love leaving the Provo scene for a night and just having fun together.

RAGE!
We are forever grateful for James Harris for introducing us to this amazing game! I feel in love with this game the first time we played it. Everytime we went shopping I would look all over for this game and then one day I found it in deseret book and bought it on the spot! I love it! It truly is a game of rage, but it is o so fun! We are excited to bring it home this summer and play with our families and friends. It is awesome!

Snowshoeing
We have only done this once together as well, but it was a lot of fun. Sadly we didn't have the opportunity to go this year.

Classic Skating
Who doesn't love going classic roller skating!
More To Be Continued! I'm still learning and dont know how to save this as a draft. :(

What to pack . . .

So now that he really could come ANY DAY I figured it was probably time for me to pack my bag. I of course have one of those "What to bring" checklist, but I was wondering what your thoughts where. Is there anything you wish you had brought but didn't? Is there anything you would have died without if you hadn't brought it? I'm just so clueless! A few tips from you experienced mothers would be greatly appreciated!! I cant believe it is so close!!

Have you noticed?

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. The last few times I have really CUT my hair, not just a trim, I was not pleased with the results. Now it would probably help if I was willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut . . . but I'm Mrs. High Pockets as my father calls me and it is really hard for me to spend money on my hair. So I need your help! What do you think I should do? Before you make any suggestions you should know: It MUST be able to go back into a ponytail!!!!!!! My hair is STICK STRAIGHT My hair will not curl to save my life (via over night curls, hot curls, even curling irons, they just don't work) I want and need something EASY! I do not like to spend time on my hair and I don...

No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk . . .

So being an emotional pregnant woman is definitely taking its tole on both me and Jeff (what a wonderful, patient, and understanding man he is). Saturday morning I was so excited because for the first time in weeks we actually had a morning together. I had planned to make us a delicious breakfast just like my dad always did for me. We had Eggs, Hashbrowns, and even Bacon; we were so excited. So I started cooking the bacon first, knowing it would take the longest. Then when I thought they were close to being done, Jeff started cooking the eggs and I threw on the hashbrowns. Well, needless to say, the eggs finished super fast and the others were not even close. And then to add more to my frustration the pan I was using for the hashbrowns was awful! Despite my many tablespoons of butter the entire thing was completely stuck! I switched pans in the middle to try to save them. In the meantime Jeff ate his eggs so they wouldn't get cold. I insisted on waiting so I could eat th...
