Viva La Mexico!!

Well, believe it or not Jeff and I are going on a cruise! And lucky us it is only a week away!! We are so excited! It has been a long time since we have done something for us and we have plenty of things to celebrate. The ship actually departs on Jeff's birthday, April 28, I'm graduating college, we never celebrated our anniversary, I could go on and on. I had quite the long list because it took me a while to convince Jeff that we needed to go. Luckily my parents sided with me and decided to help us out. I owe them big! But needless to say I am ecstatic!!

This is a map of where we are headed. It is a simple 4 night cruise where we will first go to Catalina Island and spend the day there. And then head down to Ensenada Mexico. We spent all day one day checking out all the cool things we could do. There are tons of things on the ship alone not to mention all of the on-shore excursions. Our favorites were Snorkeling, Hiking, Riding ATVs, Mini Jeep off-roading, Kayaking, and much more! We haven't decided for sure what we will do, but we just excited to go!

It is hard to believe it is one week away! Unfortunately there is still a lot to do before we take off included two more tests (for both Jeff and I), Graduation, Cleaning and Packing up our whole house, and a long drive! But that wont stop us! We just need to stay focused on one thing at a time, starting with our exams. Jeff is a good student studying his little heart out and I'm . . . just encouraging him and trying to at least look over my notes. with only two test left . . . it is just SO HARD to be motivated. Part of me just wants to go take them just so I can be done. But at the same time, I'm not worried or stressed so it doesn't really matter when I take them. The important thing is that I just get it done, which I will. Anyway, YAY for Vacation in T - 8 days!!

oh i LOVE Catalina Island! My family and I use to go there every Thanksgiving!! Have you been there before?

So now that he really could come ANY DAY I figured it was probably time for me to pack my bag. I of course have one of those "What to bring" checklist, but I was wondering what your thoughts where. Have you noticed?

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. The last few times I have really CUT my hair, not just a trim, I was not pleased with the results. Now it would probably help if I was willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut . . . but I'm Mrs. High Pockets as my father calls me and it is really hard for me to spend money on my hair. So I need your help! What do you think I should do? Before you make any suggestions you should know: It MUST be able to go back into a ponytail!!!!!!! No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk . . .

So being an emotional pregnant woman is definitely taking its tole on both me and Jeff (what a wonderful, patient, and understanding man he is). Saturday morning I was so excited because for the first time in weeks we actually had a morning together. I had planned to make us a delicious breakfast just like my dad always did for me. We had Eggs, Hashbrowns, and even Bacon; we were so excited. So I started cooking the bacon first, knowing it would take the longest. Then when I thought they were close to being done, Jeff started cooking the eggs and I threw on the hashbrowns. Well, needless to say, the eggs finished super fast and the others were not even close. And then to add more to my frustration the pan I was using for the hashbrowns was awful! Despite my many tablespoons of butter the entire thing was completely stuck!
