Bringing Home Baby!

Sorry, I realized this title is somewhat misleading, no I have not had the baby yet. But today Jeff and I went on a little trip to Park City. It was a lot of fun, but was a bit crowded because of the Sundance Film Festival. We checked out down town, historic town, ski resorts, Olympic park, and finally the Outlets. It was a blast! We just went to the outlets to look around but of course found a few deals that were irresistible! The one I am most excited about has to do with our little one. Little did I know there is a Carters outlet. As much as we honestly DO NOT need anymore clothes for our little man, we don't have a "Bringing Home Baby" outfit for when we leave the hospital. It took me ridiculously too long to pick one, but finally did. There were far too many that I loved and lucky for my I have a very patient husband (although at times I wish he was a little more opinionated and the choice would have been made sooner. lol. I thought he would be since he is a boy and this is his son, but I was wrong). Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I am so excited to have something to bring him home in. It is getting so close! Only 6 weeks left! CRAZY!

We just got our "bringing home baby" outfit too! I realized I hadn't bought one thing for the baby yet. It was fun to do a little shopping with our gift certificates! I'm so excited! We are so close! ahhh

yes, please come to water aerobics!

I didn't know they had a carters outlet out there. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't know about it....

Hey Bec! Hope the last little bit of pregnancy's going good for you!! I make those collages on Picasa3 - it's a free photo software you can download from google. It is awesome! By far the best way to organize, sort, edit, create, and enhance your photos! Especially for people like me who want an easy tool that doesn't cost a ton and take months to learn how to use it (like photoshot for example!). Anyway ... try it out. It's a blast! :)

Carter's outlets are the best! By far, my favorite brands are Carters and Gymboree (my mom spends WAY too much money there, sweet, huh?). Carter's is such nice stuff and at the outlets you can get some good deals. Plus, their sizing always seemed to fit my fat, long-torsoed, short legged kiddo best. We're running into problems with Osh Kosh now, they run skinnier and longer than she does! ;-)

What to pack . . .

So now that he really could come ANY DAY I figured it was probably time for me to pack my bag. I of course have one of those "What to bring" checklist, but I was wondering what your thoughts where. Is there anything you wish you had brought but didn't? Is there anything you would have died without if you hadn't brought it? I'm just so clueless! A few tips from you experienced mothers would be greatly appreciated!! I cant believe it is so close!!

Have you noticed?

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. The last few times I have really CUT my hair, not just a trim, I was not pleased with the results. Now it would probably help if I was willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut . . . but I'm Mrs. High Pockets as my father calls me and it is really hard for me to spend money on my hair. So I need your help! What do you think I should do? Before you make any suggestions you should know: It MUST be able to go back into a ponytail!!!!!!! My hair is STICK STRAIGHT My hair will not curl to save my life (via over night curls, hot curls, even curling irons, they just don't work) I want and need something EASY! I do not like to spend time on my hair and I don...

No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk . . .

So being an emotional pregnant woman is definitely taking its tole on both me and Jeff (what a wonderful, patient, and understanding man he is). Saturday morning I was so excited because for the first time in weeks we actually had a morning together. I had planned to make us a delicious breakfast just like my dad always did for me. We had Eggs, Hashbrowns, and even Bacon; we were so excited. So I started cooking the bacon first, knowing it would take the longest. Then when I thought they were close to being done, Jeff started cooking the eggs and I threw on the hashbrowns. Well, needless to say, the eggs finished super fast and the others were not even close. And then to add more to my frustration the pan I was using for the hashbrowns was awful! Despite my many tablespoons of butter the entire thing was completely stuck! I switched pans in the middle to try to save them. In the meantime Jeff ate his eggs so they wouldn't get cold. I insisted on waiting so I could eat th...
