Just when things were finally starting to settle down, of course a bunch of things go wrong! The past few days have been crazy back here in Provo. With Jeff starting classes and me going back to work it seemed as though things would never calm down. Coming home to a cluttered house after a long day of work is the WORST. I decided that today I would spend the day organizing and finally getting our home back in order.
Well, it started out great. I was moving right along and finally making some progress. When it came time to organize all my scrapbook stuff is when it all went down hill. I have WAY too much stuff to begin with, especially for our tiny apartment. I have been banned from buying paper for at least 1 year and probably wont need to for about 5! And I'm not kidding, I have some sort of obsession with paper. Anyway, I pulled everything out and started organizing it. When I did so I found some VERY unpleasant things!
When Jeff and I first walked in the door from coming back from CA we found a bunch of MOLD growing at every window & door. Disgusting! So we immediately cleaned it up, but it has continued to be a problem. Everyday the windows get very dewy on the inside and everyday I wipe them off, including the mold that grew over night. Now please don't get me wrong. . . Jeff and I are not dirty people! And this whole thing has been very upsetting to me. Especially since we lived in this same apartment last year and this NEVER happened.
So back to the scrapbooking stuff, I keep it under an end table located next to our sliding glass door (IE: the one we have had the biggest old issues with.) When I pulled out the crate I found that there was now mold growing on the leg of the end table! Which means that it has traveled through the carpet to get there. I finally went into the apartment complex today to express my concerns and see what they can do for us. We are trying so hard to keep it away, but it just keeps coming back!! It is gross and the thought of having my newborn baby living amongst this mold makes me want to gag! So hopefully something will happen soon. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day - and by nice I mean sunny and 40 degrees - man I miss CA! So we will open up the house and let it air out as much as possible.
As for the broken glass . . . we made the trip home and back safe and sound without any car problems. Which is saying a lot for our 1984 Vehicle! Today when we went to take the turtle off the car, I was helping Jeff and discovered a HUGE crack right down the middle of the windshield!! I was so frustrated. Jeff had just gotten home and said it wasn't there when he was driving around. I still have no clue how it got there, Jeff thinks it is just because of the cold. We didn't even have a nick in the window, I don't get it. I'm really not looking forward to replacing that thought, can you imagine the cost of a 1984 Mercedes windshield? Just added to the frustration of the day.
On a positive note, it finally stopped snowing after at 3 day blizzard! We got at least 18 inches if not more. Poor ralph (our other car) was completely buried! School for Jeff has started out pretty well, but it is school non the less. We are happy to be back among friends, but really do miss our California Home! We had such a nice stay this break, it went way too fast! We are looking forward to coming home again this summer, so hopefully this semester will go by quickly!
Also, 2 months from today is our due date! Woo Hoo!! Everyone that sees me thinks I'm joking when I say I'm not due till March, they think I'm due right now!! It cracks me up. And although I am feeling huge, for the most part I'm still feeling great! Hopefully that will last! :)

I totally identify with your obsession with paper ;) Brad actually cleaned out my card/scrapbook stuff for me because he was sick of it so unogranized and over several shelves. So he organzied all of it and made a special paper holder for me as I have broken every paper organizer from the store that I have bought because I just have too much! He took the filing aparatus out of a filing cabnit drawer and put it on the floor for me in my craft closet. It's perfect! I can see it all and they aren't getting ruined!
Anyway ... I'm sorry about the car! That's crazy about the crack :( Hey but you will have your boy in two months! Yay!!!!
