Depressed . . .

Now don't be concerned, we are all doing just fine. This depression has to do with one thing and one thing only . . .

IT's SNOWING!!!
I am so NOT ready for the snow, especially now that I have a child. We will really be stuck inside now. Which is a shame, because sometimes you really just need to get out. I love being outside, and so does the P.
How do you stay at home mom's function during the winter?
Really, what do you do? Do you just go visit other stay at home moms? Do you bundle your child up and brave the snow? Really, what is a mother to do!!!??
On a plus side, it is pretty and I like that, but that is about it. I cant wait to get back to sunny California!!!

Yeah, mostly we go visit/play with other kids.

Except now that Nate is a bit older, it's not as hard to be home because I can do activities with him: color, read books, make cookies, finger paint, sculpt shapes with play dough...etc.

Seriously, so much easier when they're older. But I'm with you, going outdoors is so nice with kids. I'm all for this being our last winter in Utah.

We couldn't believe there was snow in utah...we were all worried about the bad winters up here in Michigan! haha...

Sunny California misses you too! Though I must say I have secretly missed the snow these past two winters out this way... and then I remembered about scraping the snow off my car, and suddenly I've been happy about being here! :)
Just enjoy it for now... you'll be here soon :)

  Riley’s Primary Talk on Baptism 3/15/20 Today I want to talk on Baptism.   Being baptized is a commandment from Heavenly Father.   We have to be baptized to make it back to Him.   Even Jesus Christ was baptized.   If Jesus Christ was baptized we should be baptized too.   When we turn 8 years old we can choose to follow Jesus Christ’s example and be baptized too.   When we are baptized and confirmed we become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.     If you have already been baptized, you should remember the covenants, or promises you made.   If you have not been baptized, you should study and pray and keep the commandments so that when you turn 8 years old you will be ready.
