A Few Fun Things

Parker is becoming more and more fun everyday! It is so neat to watch him learn! A few things that are especially fun right now are: His Smiles! He does it more and more everyday! It is neat to see that he is starting to recognize faces and voices. He LOVES looking at himself in the mirror! He smiles and smiles, it is so neat. He loves his hands. He discovered them about a month ago and is continuing to find them more and more fascinating everyday! He loves to stare at them, to suck on them (more then one at a time) etc. He loves whacking toys and making them swing. He loves to talk to anyone who will listen and will talk back to him. I go over to my parents almost everyday and Parker has a blast! I has been so fun to watch my parents turn into grandparents! And Boy are they great at it! Being that I was the youngest, I never had the opportunity to see what my parents were like with babies, they are wonderful and they love it! I must say that my dad and Parker are great budd...

Talking Parker

Here is a video of Parker talking to me. It is rather wiggly because I was holding a squirmy child in one hand and the camera in the other but it is still fun to hear him cooing. This one sounds like a sad story he is telling, but still adorable! I hope you enjoy!

Parker's Blessing

Parker was ADORABLE on his blessing day. We found him a great outfit when we were back in Utah with a checkered vest and bow tie. I loved it. Jeff gave him a wonderful blessing. The spirit was so strong. I couldn't help baring my testimony as I was pondering on so many wonderful things. Just two months earlier I had shared my testimony to my ward back in Utah. It was actually the day before I went into labor. And the feelings I felt that day compared to how I felt this day were almost polar opposites. That Sunday before Parker was born I was so overwhelmed with the thoughts of how would I teach this child? How would I provide for him? How would I give him everything I want him to have? And this last Sunday I was overwhelmed with Peace and Love. I knew I could do it. I knew Heavenly Father sent Parker to me for a reason and I knew he would help me along the way. I was so grateful for the knowledge I have of the gospel and the fact that I know without a doubt that my family can be to...

2 Months & Smiles . . . a little late I know.

Well, it has been a while since I posted and I have a lot to report! Parker is honestly growing by the second - or so it seems. And he really is getting cuter everyday. He has been smiling for about 3 weeks now and does it more and more everyday. I didn't think we had a picture of it until I was looking through the camera and found these: Jeff took them one day when I wasn't home. Isn't he adorable?!? I love him! Smiles are getting more frequent. They used to be few and far between, but now pretty much if you make eye contact he is all smiles. I have had many opportunities lately to take more pictures, but I have so much fun smiling back and having conversations with him (via cooing) that I cant get up to grab the camera. But I'm glad Jeff got a couple. So Parker is officially 2 months old! Can you even believe it? Time sure flies!! Here is a recent 2 month picture: (and I am a slacker and actually took these yesterday, so he is now much closer to 3 months...

Hapy Mother's Day to Me

So yesterday was Mother's day, as we all know. And thanks to Parker, I got to celebrate my first one and it was wonderful! Church was great, I got a new calling. I'm serving in the Young Women's now which I am really excited about. We took my parents out to dinner the night before to Celebrate Mother's day with them and that was really nice. And Yesterday the Score's had the grandparents over for dinner and that was really nice too. The boys cooked Fajitas for us and they were delicious! Being a Mom really is the best! Of course it is a lot of hard work, but just one little smile from my little one makes it all worth while! I feel like I was spoiled rotten here on my first mother's day. I warned Jeff that if he starts off this strong I'm going to have high expectations for all future mother's days to come (I was joking of course). But here is what I got: The Hubby surprised me with flowers on Saturday My mother-in-law gave me this beautiful Wil...
