Like I even remember Christmas at this point.
I'll give it my best shot.
We got our tree at Costco again, it is just such a steal of a deal. Plus the unavailing is pretty exciting. This year daddy and grandpa p went together which meant there was no room for all of us AND 2 trees so we let daddy pick the winner. And boy did he pick a perfect tree!!
My little helper as we started decorating the house.
We woke up early on December 1st so we made these bad boys while we waited for daddy and Ri to wake up. We are kind of addicted to advents over here so the kids were super excited to have another one.
P-man helping decorate our beautiful tree.
My name is Rebecca and I have a problem. A children's book problem. If you are looking for any Christmas books at the library you wont find any because they are all here. : / But we are happy to share.
Um... Best. Stuff. EVER! Seriously, WAAAYYYYY better than regular eggnog.
We got some last minute tickets to the Nutcracker on Temple Hill. I took P and Em and Jeff stayed home with Riley. It was so much fun. The kids did great! They still talk about it. I can't wait to go again next year!
Checking out the awesome lights after the show. It was FREEZING! But such a fun night with these two.
Our best friends invited us over to make gingerbread houses. These were legit too. Made from scratch and more candy than you can imagine. It was so fun! Thanks friends!
Home made pepermint oreos a.k.a. woopie pies a.k.a. heaven in a cookie.
Our little elf hiding in our scripture a day advent.
Ward party and a visit from Santa. Ri would not take her eyes off of him.
Puppets of Praise, one of our favorite traditions that we go to with Granny and Gramps. It is so fun and such a great little show that also includes the true meaning of Christmas. We love it!
Me and my beauties on Christmas Sunday.
Christmas morning and almost matching pjs. Christmas with kids is the best!
My absolute favorite Christmas decor. This Nativity is my all time favorite. It just somehow captures the peace, humble circumstance, reverence, and awe of the birth. And I love that even from the very beginning Christmas was and always will be about family.
