Peas, Green Beans, and Squah, O-My!

So we have been consistently trying new foods every week. Here are some pictures and I think they are self explanatory of weather he liked them or not. He is too funny!

Green Beans: PLEASE don't make me eat MORE!

Peas: I'll eat them, but I sure wont be happy about it!

Squash: YUMMM!!

On a side note, thank you all for your love and support (regarding the previous post). It is so nice to know we all are in the same boat feeling the same things. I am so blessed to have you as my friends!
I love you!

Hey Rebecca,
I just read your previous post...and I'm so sorry! I felt all the same things after having Nate (even the woes of breastfeeding not working out). But especially the not loosing weight part. My advice: buy some pants that fit you NOW instead of wearing maternity jeans. It helps with your self esteem not having to still wear your "pregnancy" pants.

Yay for solid foods and funny faces! :) I don't blame him with the green beans! :) lol

I just read your previous post as well and yes! I totally know what you're feeling ... especially the loneliness thing. Some days are worse than others. It's hard when your baby doesn't talk back to you! Don't worry...it gets easier! :) AND I'm home ALL OF THE TIME...call and we'll get together and play! Even if it is just for a few minutes! :) We live close enough! :) haha
He is too cute! It was so fun bumping into you guys last night! haha
So cute! Trust me we can run together now. I will most likely be much slower than you. I haven't been running in the past bit but am finally feeling good and want to start up again! Let me know!

Have you noticed?

I need a haircut ASAP! This is me saying, "I'll smile if you ignore my hair." Don't get me wrong, I am really excited I have long hair, I love having long hair , but it needs a little TLC. It has been a few months since I have even got a trim and I am still re-couping from a not so good hair cut. The last few times I have really CUT my hair, not just a trim, I was not pleased with the results. Now it would probably help if I was willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut . . . but I'm Mrs. High Pockets as my father calls me and it is really hard for me to spend money on my hair. So I need your help! What do you think I should do? Before you make any suggestions you should know: It MUST be able to go back into a ponytail!!!!!!! My hair is STICK STRAIGHT My hair will not curl to save my life (via over night curls, hot curls, even curling irons, they just don't work) I want and need something EASY! I do not like to spend time on my hair and I don...

Em's Blessing

Emily's Blessing day was so great! Since we were moving home so soon after she was born, we decided to just wait until we got out here to CA so our family could be there for it. It was pretty low key compared to P's (and by that I mean less family there) but was still just as wonderful. Jeff gave a beautiful blessing. It was also special because she wore the dress I was sealed to my parents in. Jeff wasn't a fan of how long it was for such a small baby, but it was so neat for her to wear something that is so special in my family. The P-man looked like a little stud in his outfit too! I wish I would have gotten some of the two of them together, o-well. It was a fabulous day! Thanks so much for all the family and friends that were there, it meant so much to have you there and we missed those who couldn't come! Isn't she so perfect! I love this picture of her laying on the grass. She is so pure and clean and perfect ! I love her!

Disneyland

A little late but . . . We Went To Disneyland! So you may or may not know that we went to Disneyland back in July. It was so much fun! As we were planning the trip I was really worried about how it would be taking 2 babies there, in my mind they were way too young to do anything there but boy was I wrong! All of us had a great time and we all went on tons of rides, even Emily! Here is a list of all the rides we went on: (The bold ones were P's very favorites) Disneyland Railroad Train Enchanted Tiki Room The Jungle Cruise Tarzan's Tree House Pirates of the Caribbean Haunted Mansion Winnie the Pooh It's a Small World Story Book Land canal boats King Aurthur's Carousel Dumbo Mad Tea Party Tea Cups Peter Pan Mr. Toad's Wild Ride Pinocchio Finding Nemo Submarine Autopia (Cars) Did you know babies could do this much! I sure didn't! I even nursed during 4 of the above mentioned rides which was so nice and saved tons of time! They both did so well on all of the...
